Before we stepped into this beautiful pizza heaven we had heard plenty of buzz from all of our friends, and, of course, I read the Edible Michiana article, which lit the fire under us. Let me repeat: Venturi is a brilliant, delicious gem. When we toured through Europe in 2013, we ate some of the best pizza in the world. So when we arrived back in the Midwest we were a bit worried about finding a great Neapolitan pizza. Until we ordered the Margherita Doc with fior di latte, topped with fresh basil at Venturi. Yum!
