There are many “-tinis” but only one Martini. It’s all about the gin with this one. I love Tanqueray 10. I will be drinking these all over the place between Christmas and New Year’s. I go with a lemon twist rather than olives. Feel free to do right by yourself on the garnish here.

Ingredients

SERVINGS: 1 Cocktail
  • 2 ounces gin
  • ¾ ounce dry vermouth
  • Ice
  • Lemon twist

Instructions

Combine gin and vermouth in a mixing glass. Add ice. Stir until cold. Strain into chilled martini glass and express lemon rind over the drink and then drop in the glass.
