Ingredients
  

  • 1 teaspoon absinthe
  • 1½ ounces Cognac or rye
  • 3–4 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
  • Lemon twist

Instructions
 

  • Rinse a cocktail glass with absinthe (swirl it around some so the absinthe coats it). Fill shaker with ice, add remaining ingredients except lemon, then shake. Strain into the rinsed glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
