This photo essay is all about what we dreamed of doing with food as a kid. It is about squashing things, breaking things and creating disarray. We had fun thinking about the forbidden messes of childhood and the joy that comes from getting our hands dirty.

We live in a world of technology that leaves us disconnected from the tactile things around us. Hopefully you can feel the exuberance of playing with whipped cream, tomatoes, flour and eggs when you look at these images. We had fun creating them.
