- 1 tablespoon chopped red onion
- 2–4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- ½ cup dark beer
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Whisk all ingredients together.
Croutons: For homemade croutons, toss day-old bread cubes in olive oil and a pinch of salt. Roast in a 300° oven for 7–10 minutes, until toasted on the outside.
