Jane Ammeson is a freelance writer who specializes in travel, food and personalities. She writes frequently for Northwest Indiana Times, Chicago Life magazine, Grand Rapids press, AAA Home & Away, Cincinnati Enquirer and other publications. She also writes a weekly food column, and has authored six books (including the recently released A Jazz Age Murder in Northwest Indiana, a true crime story that took place in her hometown).
