Thanksgiving Day family fun featuring a scavenger hunt and demonstrations of Native American cooking techniques in honor of Native American Heritage Month.  Kids will have the chance to embark on a scavenger hunt throughout the gardens and nature trails – find every hidden paper turkey and win a special Thanksgiving prize! Then in the Native American Garden get a firsthand look at traditional Indigenous People’s cooking techniques as the garden educator prepares pumpkin stew over an open flame.

Friendship Botanic Gardens is a historic 105 acre community green space tucked in the majestic old-growth forests surrounding Trail Creek. Pets on a leash are always welcome.
