Billy Burdett, manager of Harris Family Farm Foundation, will present a gardening talk entitled “Growing and Giving: Feeding Southwest Michigan”. Harris Farm raises organic produce for distribution to food pantries and shelters in our local area. Burdett will also answer questions about organic gardening from interested gardeners.

The talk is sponsored by The Planting Field, a community garden project at the Chikaming Township Park & Preserve located on Warren Woods Rd., south and east of where Warren Woods Rd. crosses I-94. This property is managed by the Chikaming Township Park Board. Applications for garden sites will be available. This event is free to the public and all are welcome!
